How To Improve Web Page Ranking
Here are some quick tips on how to improve web page ranking although I do highly advise that you take our free in depth SEO course listed below.
1. Make sure your title has the keyword or phrase in it that you are trying to rank on with two phrases being maximum. i.e. ‘How To Obtain High Rankings | Getting High Rankings’.
2. Keep your keyword meta tag short and to the point. i.e. ‘obtain high rankings,high rankings’.
3. Keep your description tag concise and to the point. i.e. ‘Obtain high rankings quickly and effectively. Learn how today.’.
4. Going down the page, place headings starting with larger ones going to smaller using the ‘h’ tags. i.e. <h1>, <h2>, <h3>
5. Use alt (description) tags for all images. i.e. alt=”increase rankings graph”.
6. Place your site link on all major business directories using your given keyword as anchor text. Directories such as Yahoo, Dmoz, Business.com, Joeant.com
7. Place your site link on major themed business directories using your given keyword as anchor text.
8. Place you site link on themed .edu and .gov websites. To find these sites go to yahoo and do a search on ‘your theme + .edu + links’.
9. Find themed article sites using the search phrase ‘your theme + article submission’. Write articles and submit them.
10. Submit a press release including a link back to your site using the keyword as anchor text you are trying to rank on. In doing so will give you dozens of inbound links across the net.

Now these are exceptionally well written tips. And i have no doubts that if anyone follows these tips they won’t have trouble gaining good PR.
However, something that really needs to be clarified is the time factor. It takes time for Google Bots to determine PR.
You have to also work on link building strategies and also Submit Free Articles to get one way backlinks.
